Welding Principle



As the drawing sho ws the principle is as follow:
A pair of circumgyrating upper and lower welding rollers press the tinplate, by going through low voltage and high current to create heat and welding points on overlap. During the processing procedures, the copper wire acts as the media electrode, which can prevent polluting the welding rollers from the melting tinplate during process and take away the heat of the welding rollers.
Because melt joints between tinplate and copper wire are continuous, the quality of welding line is good and the upper and lower welding rollers do not need to be trimmed in quite a long time. Furthermore in order to make an even touch between copper wire and welded material, the round section copper wire is required to be pressed into flat section copper wire.

The main function of an overlaying welding machine is the transfer of molten metal from the base electrode to the welded rod. Part 3. Machine Structure

1. TIG water cooled welding torch is pneumatically moved in up-down direction. Welding torch can be adjusted up and down, side to side and angled turn. The body of welding torch is ceramic. Welding head is driven up and down by cylinder.

2. Japan Omron CP-1H 40CDT PLC machine as the control system,control the implementation of the welding program. Stable system, simple structure, and easy to maintain. Touch screen as the input and output interface.Welding length, arc striking & ending time, welding current and welding speed can be input through the interface. Welding mode and welding specification can be preset,saved and recalled. With the help of touch man-machine interface,it is convenient to change parameters and status.

3. We are using 6mm Copper clamping bar and 20mm copper back bar in machine.They can be for steel, stainless steel and Al. Copper bar is used to conduct both heat and electricity. Firmly clamp work-piece. It is also used to protect steel surface. Surface of the cylinder/tank will not have scratch and mechanical damage. 

4.Japan Panasonic TIG welding power source. 1set power source and 1set water chiller will go with machine.
