Expanded Perlite Insulation Fireproof Material

Supplier From China
Jun-26-18

Product Description
Expanded Perlite locally produced is white powdery material extremely light in weight and composed of minor air-tight bubbles, made by crushing perlite (glassy igneous sand) into certain particle size and rapidly heating it for expansion.
Expanded Perlite comes from volcanic lava.It is a kind of amorphous, glassiness volcano that contains crystalline water inside. For expanded perlite has low density and low heat conductivity characters, it is widely used in construction and manufacturing fields, lightweight plasters and mortars, insulation, ceiling tiles and filter aids. In horticulture, it makes composts more open to air, while having good water-retention capacity. It is good carrier for soilless plant.Since last few years, expanded perlite is more and more popular in cryogenic use

XPS Insulation (Extruded Polystyrene): "XPS" commonly refers to extruded polystyrene insulation. This type of insulation is known for its closed-cell structure, providing good thermal resistance and moisture resistance. It is often used in various construction applications, such as insulating walls, roofs, and foundations.

B1 Fire Rating: The "B1" component might refer to a fire rating. In some fire classification systems, materials are rated based on their fire resistance, and "B1" could indicate a certain level of fire resistance. For example, in the European fire classification system (Euroclass), B1 represents a material with limited combustibility.

The Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS/GGBFS) is a type of eco-friendly green building material and high quality secondary cementitious material for concrete and cement. It is recognized as one of the best secondary cementations material for building high durable concrete stricture in the world today! GGBS has taken over a top place of high-performance cement and concrete mineral additives with its unique characteristics of hydration, low-price raw material. GGBS is obtained by quenching molten iron blast furnace slag (a by-product of iron and steel making) in water or steam. It is then further grounded into the desired fineness in terms of the required particle size distribution. The main components of blast furnace slag are CaO (30-50%), SiO2 (28-38%), Al2O3 (8-24%), and MgO (1-18%). The other important aspect of GGBS is its superiority in concrete durability which extends the lifespan of buildings from fifty years to a hundred years.
