Tufted rugs are created without knots. Hand tufted rugs (also called hand made/cut pile rugs) are produced by punching individual yarns through a fabric sheet using a hand-held tool device called a tufting gun. Hand tufted rugs are not made on a loom. Firstly our pure cotton carpet canvas is measured and then the design is either screen printed or digitally printed on to this like a piece of artwork. The benefit of the modern printed version is both accuracy and complexity.
Once the rug has been completed a second fabric is glued to the back to hold the yarns in place.
Hand tufted rugs are still highly durable and can last for 15-20 years without a problem.

Shedding is a natural property of new rug.
DO NOT brush or scrub the rug.
Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode.
If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
Rotate occasionally to equalize wear.
Use protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening and piling.
If thread comes out do not pull the yarn, trim with scissor.
Periodic professional cleaning recommended.
DO NOT fold the rug.
Avoid using the rug in damp or wet surface.
