5 PSI-D-4V-MIL Amplified Middle Pressure Sensor General Description
The Amplified line of middle pressure sensors is based upon a proprietary package technology to reduce errors. This model provides a ratiometric 4-volt output with superior output characteristics. The sensor housing has been designed specifically to reduce package induced parasitic stress and strain. In addition the sensor utilizes a silicon, micromachined, stress concentration enhanced structure to provide a very linear output to measured pressure.
These calibrated and temperature compensated sensors give an accurate and stable output over a wide temperature range. Each sensor is internally compensated using an ASIC compensation technique. This series is intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic working fluids such as air, dry gases and the like.
The output of the device is ratiometric to the supply voltage over a supply voltage range of 4.5 to 5.5 volts.

The sensor is compensated for offset, sensitivity, temperature drift and nonlinearity. The sensor is available in the range from 5 to 100 psi. Other ranges on request. Available in Gauge and Absolute type. The output is ratiometric to the power supply voltage. @ 5 V power voltage the output span is 0.5 to 4.5 V. The SPD analogue series can be considered as an analogue successor of the SPD series. Plug valve is Quarter-turn rotary motion Valve that uses a tapered or cylindrical plug to stop or start the flow. The disk is in plug shape, which has a passage to pass the flow. In open position, this bored passage is in line with the flow. When the plug is turned 90 from the open position, the solid part of the plug blocks the flow. Plug valve is used in place of gate valve where a quick operation is required. It can be used in high-pressure temperature services. On the other hand are the non-lubricated plugs which are generally used in places which requires zero maintenance. Apart from this, the threaded plug valves are used for flow control and prevention of contamination. Plug valves generally have cylindrical and conical tapered installed. These tapered plugs rotate within the valve which controls the flow inside the valve. It also has of hollow passageways which permit the water to flow when the valve is open.
