Description Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) is a sterile absorbable synthetic, multifilament suture composed of glycolic acid. The sutures are braided and coated with a blend of polycaprolate, copolymer of caprolactone and glycolide and Calcium Stearate. The colour of PGA absorbable Suture is violet or undyed. The size is USP 8/0 to USP 4. Characteristics Absorbable suture is widely used in surgery, because it can be absorbed, so there is no need to remove the suture and avoid secondary pain.
