Turmeric is a traditional and cash crop for south indians and also for few other indian states. Turmeric is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial tropical plant of the ginger family. Turmeric is also known as curcuma longa or curcumin.
Turmeric is a ten month duration crop.It is in orange yellowish colour, and the processed turmeric finger is in yellow colour.India serves 90% of the worlds turmeric demand. First of all indians consider Turmeric as auspicious,holy and sacredness product and has also been used in various Hindu ceremonies such as spiritual, religious and marriage.
As far as the Turmeric finger is concerned, it is a well known fact that Salem variety is one of the best export quality in the market. We purchase such export quality salem variety directly from farmers and further clean it and sort out bold fingers separately and finally we arrive only 30 to 40 % of the bold fingers in the entire quantity purchased.
We do pack the selective bold fingers as per buyers need and forward it safely to the buyers destination. Minimum order quantity is 10 tons and above and we can forward 2X 20 foot container per month.
