Polyethylene Wax, also known as PE Wax, is an ultra low molecular weight polyethylene consisting of ethylene monomer chains. PE wax has a large variety of uses and applications. PE Wax is available from on-purpose production and as a byproduct of polyethylene production. Lubricants are used in plastic processing to enhance the demolding properties of products and prevent defects caused by adhesion within the machine or mold. Usually added to the molding compound or coated on the surface of the mold cavity. Common lubricants include fatty acids and their salts, as well as long-chain fatty hydrocarbons. According to the different mechanisms of lubricant action, it can be divided into external lubricants and internal lubricants. (1) External lubricant: This lubricant has poor compatibility with molding resins, so it is commonly used in molding processing machinery or molds. It forms a lubricating layer between the lubricant and the resin, which facilitates resin flow and product demolding, such as paraffin. (2) Internal lubricant: This type of lubricant has good compatibility with resin and is often mixed into the resin to reduce its melt viscosity and improve its flowability. Such as butyl stearate, lead stearate, etc. Stearates are both good lubricants and effective stabilizers.

Ink and Coating: In the ink and coating industry, oxidized polyethylene wax is used as a dispersant and anti-sinking agent, which can improve the gloss and three-dimensionality of the printed materials, and at the same time enhance the water resistance and abrasion resistance of the coating. Rubber industry: As a lubricant, POW reduces energy consumption during rubber processing, improves release efficiency and enhances the gloss and durability of rubber products. Textile and Leather: In textile softeners and leather treatments, oxidized polyethylene waxes provide good lubricity and water resistance, and increase the softness and gloss of the products. Agriculture and gardening: Oxidized polyethylene waxes are also used in agriculture and gardening as protectants and lubricants to improve the effectiveness of crop protection coatings and the durability of garden tools.
