Regeneration: When the ion exchange resin on a large number of functional groups combined with calcium and magnesium ions, the ion exchange resin softening capacity can be used sodium chloride solution flow through the ion exchange resin,at this time with the high sodium content, Functional groups will release calcium and magnesium ions and sodium ions, so that ion exchange resin can restore the exchange capacity, this process is called regeneration.
