Plano-convex lenses are useful for a wide range of applications. These lenses are manufactured from BK7A grade A (or customer design) optical glass and are supplied uncoated. Anti-reflection coatings are available as listed earlier in this section. To order an anti-reflection coated lens simply append the wavelength in nanometers to the product number. These lenses may also be used as mirror blanks if a convex surface mirror is required. When used to focus a collimated beam, the light should be incident on the curved surface of the lens. These plano-convex lenses may be combined with other lenses to form compex imaging systems.

Product description This product description is for 08 fiber single mode double armored optical fiber cable designed to meet the technical requirements as mentioned as per specification documents, it fulfills the design for the applications desired therein. The design is based on stranded loose tube which provides stable performance over a wide temperature range and is compatible with any telecommunications-grade optical fiber. This cable is suitable for both duct and direct buried applications, it provides extra strength and rodent protection by using double armor and two inner coats. The stranded loose tubes contain thixotropic jelly for protection of the optical fibers as required. The thixotropic jelly protects the fibers within the loose tubes and provides excellent quality filling compound for stopping ingress/transport of water into the cable. The product is manufactured on itu-t g.652.D fiber. It facilitates easy and economical installation. This cable has been designed for long haul direct / backbone application. Our stranded loose tube design provides stable performance over a wide temperature range and is compatible with any telecommunications-grade optical fiber. Direct buried type fiber optical cable are designed for easy and economical installation. The stranded loose tubes contain thixotropic jelly but the cable core is based on dry-block construction. Incorporation of dry water block technology eliminates the need for traditional jelly filled water blocking methods, thus providing efficient and craft-friendly cable installation. The thixotropic jelly is used to fill the buffer tubes to prevent water ingress. Steel tape armoring provides a rodent protection, length markings in meters for easy determination of cable length. Extra strength cable can also be delivered with peripheral strength members.
