Installed in duct, self supporting (figure 8 self supporting or adss all dielectric self supporting) and direct
Burial (with armouring).
Construction:
The cable consists of a single tube containing 2 up to 24 fibers, which is filled with water-blocking gel. When the
Cable contains more than 12 fibers, they are divided in two groups. A colored thread identifies each group. Physical
Protection and tensile strength are provided by aramid yarn or fiberglass wound around the tube. Either pe or lszh
Jacket can be used. A ripcord is located under the jacket to facilitate jacket removal.

Product highlights:
Small diameter and light weight.
Through the control of the fiber exceed length which is the key technology in optical fiber manufacture, the fiber
Cable can achieve better pulling load and operating temperature.
Tube materials are water resistant and can sustain high tension. Being filled with special water-blocking gel, the
Tube can provide water protection for the fibers inside the tube.
Compact construction of the fiber cores can prevent the fiber to shrink back. This can sustain higher tensile stress
And achieve better flexibility.

Armoured Fiber Optic Patch Cord is with stainless steel tube inside the outer jacket to protect the central unit of the cable, the armored fiber optic patch cords are easy to use in harsh environment, what is more , they are flexible as well, handling these armored fiber optic patch cables are as easy as handling electric cables.

High tensile strength, pressure resistance, re-twist resistance, prevents bite by the rodents
Electric cable-like handling and easy installation.

The fibers, 125μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) locates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) is applied around the cable core. Then the cable core is covered with a thin polyethylene (PE) inner sheath, which is filled with jelly to protect it from water ingress. After a corrugated steel tape armor is applied, the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath.

This cable has been designed for long haul direct / backbone application. Our stranded loose tube design provides stable performance over a wide temperature range and is compatible with any telecommunications-grade optical fiber. Direct Buried type Fiber Optical Cables are designed for easy and economical installation.

The stranded loose tubes contain thixotropic jelly but the cable core is based on dry-block construction. Incorporation of Dry Water Block Technology eliminates the need for traditional jelly filled water blocking methods, thus providing efficient and craft-friendly cable installation.

The thixotropic jelly is used to fill the buffer tubes to prevent water ingress. Steel Tape Armoring provides a rodent protection, length markings in meters for easy determination of cable length. Extra Strength cable can also be delivered with Peripheral Strength Members.
