1. Main Function Gravity Cylinder is designed for thickening of fibrous in pulp and paper industry, i.e. chemical pulp, ground wood, waste paper, rag pulp etc. 2. Working Principle and performance Gravity Cylinder Thickener, provided with a pick-up roll, is used particularly for continuous thickening under stable input conditions. The machine capacity depends on the sort and mainly on the dewatering speed or refining rate of fibrous stock and its input consistency. This machine provides capacities ranging from 10 to 122 t/d. A dewatering drum, covered with a coagulating screen, is permanetly rinsed with washing water from shower tubs with flat-shaped jets.
