1. Curing agent (oil, water and other miscellaneous use), albumin pasteurization stabilizer (including liquid or frozen whole eggs, white or yolk). The maximum allowable dosage (FAO/WHO, 1984) is 0.036%. It is used for papermaking, water purification, mordant, tanning agent, pharmaceutical astringent, wood preservative, foam fire extinguishing agent, etc. It is used in the production of artificial gems and high-grade ammonium alum. Analytical reagent, mordant, water repellent, oil decolorizing agent.

2. After soluble in water, fine particles and natural colloids in water can be condensed into large flocculent, which can be removed from the water, so it is used as a coagulant for water supply and wastewater.
