Product Description
This product is a water-soluble concrete admixture, major part of which is polycarboxylate polymer. It provides functions of high range water reduction, excellent slump retention, low shrinkage and high strength. It can be added to different strength grade concrete, especially for the concrete of high strength, self-compacting, high durability and performance. This product accords with GB8076-2008, JG/T233 first-class standards, and also satisfies the No. [2005]101 Specification of National Ministry of Railways.

Dosage
Dosage: 0.6~1.2% of total cementitious materials. Increase dosage to 1.0~2.0% when manufacture the high-compressive-strength concrete.
The optimum mix design needs to be determined by the requirements of the project, specialties of materials and mixture tests before usage.
Can not be mixed with naphthalene-based admixture; the compatibility of combination with other admixtures needs to be conformed by mix tests.
The factors, which include the amount of mud in sand and grave, the variation of admixture quality, can a¬ffect water reducing performance of this product in a big range.

How to use:
It is recommended to be used in combination with other water-reducing polycarboxylic acid water-reducing agent mother liquor. The ratio of water-reducing mother liquor to slump-preserving mother liquor is better to be (90%-50%): (10%-50%), and the solid content after compounding should be 0.05%~0.25% of the cementitious material.After being diluted in proportion, add it to the concrete mixer together with water,and youâ??ll see better effects when adding retarder of 1-4% of the quality of the water reducing agent.

Description

Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is a high performance, 100% poly-carboxylate based polymer, also named PCE.

Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is specifically developed as an effective dispersant, fluidifier and high range water reducing agent for concrete and other mineral materials, which is air entraining. It complies with ASTM C 494, Type F specifications.

Application
As a new generation of environmental friendly concrete admixtures, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be applied in hydraulic, electricity, port, bridge, railway, tunnels and highway projects.

In the production of self-compact precast concrete and conventional concrete, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) leads to low water/cement ratios, but maintains a normal level of workability.

Uses and Dosages
1. When Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is applied in the form of powder, normal dosage ranges from 0.15% to 0.6% of the weight of cementitious material in 1m3 of concrete. When applied in the form of liquid by being mixed with and dissolved into water, Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be changed into liquid of which density varies from 10% to 40%. In order to optimize the dosage, experiments are required before the adoption of it or changing of the cement type.
2. Recommended dosage: 0.2% of the weight of cementitious material in 1m3 of concrete.
3. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) can be added into cement paste together with water or after mixing, while the latter approach is preferred.
4. The quantity of water must be strictly controlled when Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is applied, since slump loss of concrete is closely related to it.
5. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is alkalescent, nontoxic, non-corrosive and environmental friendly. If it gets onto skin or in the eyes, please wash it off with clean water at once. If there is skin allergy, please see a doctor.
6. Do not mix it with naphthalene-based admixtures. If other admixtures, such as set retarder or corrosion-inhibiting admixture, are required simultaneously for some special projects, compatibility tests should be conducted beforehand.
7. When applying Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) in steam curing concrete or other special concrete, abundant experiments are highly recommended to make sure it satisfies the expected requirement.
8. When Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) is used to make concrete at or below C45, the total cost may be reduced by increasing the quantity of minerals.
Package, Storage & Handling
1. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) for powder: Woven fabric bag with plastic liner. Net weight: 20kg +/- 0.13 kg.
2. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) needs to be stored in well-ventilated and dry place.
3. Keep Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer concrete admixture (Powder) from sunlight and below freezing point. Its storage stability can retain 12months in original package, but please use it up in 60days if it's been opened and repacked.
