In order to improve the safety of driving at night, the glass beads have been used in the road marking lines. When the lamp shines on the marking line, the ray of lamp can be reflected parallely by the glass beads so that the driver can see the road clearly thus increasing the safety. The life span of road marking line has been extended by mixing different size of glass beads. When the bigger glass beads have been worn down, the smaller ones still have refractive effect.
The glass beads as refracting materials can be classified into two kinds class a (premix) and class b (drop on). We usually premixed the glass beads of class a into the paint for road marking to have well refraction performance, which will improve driving safety. The glass beads of class b are normally dropped on the painted road markings to improve refracting effect.

1.5 Refractive index and 2.4--2.6 glass beads
The glass beads,composed of Si,Na and Ca,are broken and calcined by high temperature after which the said microspheres are obtained.With properties of the high roundness rate,better hardness,excellent anti-friction and direct reflect light .They are widely applied in the fields of plastic rubber,abrasion ground,blast derusting,road-reflect dope and handicraft lamp,etc.

1) Product Introduction
Glass beads for sandblasting has the features of chemical stability, high mechanical intensity and hardness. They can be� blasted onto the object surface with compressed air and can be used on compress glass, rubber, plastic, moulds with metal casting or compressing. The jetting balls would help reduce elasticity of the surface materials and increase wearing capacity.

High Strength Glass Beads (for Blasting)
With compressed air as implicit power, this product is made by sprinkling beads under high speed and pressure on the surface of workpiece for peening and polishing.
Other purposes of the products are as follows:
1.� Clear diverse moulds of impact forging, forging, glass, rubber and plastic, metal casting and extrusion.
2.� Eliminate tensile stress, increase fatigue life and enhance stress corrosion resistance. For example, aircraft engine turbo, vane, shaft, undercarriage, diversified springs and gears, etc.
3.� Clean and remove slitter edge and burr on the circuit plate and plastic-sealed geminate transistors before stannum soldering
4.� Remove stems in the piston and cylinder and provide bright and half-lackluster surface for medical mechanical instruments and automobile parts
5. Clear electromotor and such parts as loop, electric brush and rotor of during heavy repair
6.� Clean up and remove burr of metal tube and precisely-melten non-ferrous metal tube. Be used for peening aggrandizement and polishing of textile machinery parts.
