N-propanol, also known as 1-propanol, is an organic compound with the structural formula CH3CH2CH2OH, molecular formula C3H8O, and molecular weight of 60.10. Under normal temperature and pressure, n-propanol is a transparent and colorless liquid with a strong moldy odor similar to external alcohol. It is soluble in water, ethanol, and ether. Generally, acetaldehyde is synthesized by carbonylation of ethylene and then reduced to obtain it. N-propanol can replace ethanol with lower boiling point as a solvent and can also be used for chromatographic analysis.
N-propanol is listed in the "List of Hazardous Chemicals" and controlled in accordance with the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Hazardous Chemicals"

application area
1. n-propanol is commonly used in organic synthesis, and can be used in the synthesis of nitro spray paint, cosmetics, dental detergents, insecticides, fungicides, inks, plastics, antifreeze, as well as intermediates, such as the synthesis of propyl acetate, which can be used as a coating solvent, printing ink, etc. Various esters synthesized from n-propanol can also be used as food additives, plasticizers, fragrances (ingredients used to prepare fragrances must not exceed the maximum allowable usage and maximum allowable residue levels in GB 2760), and many other aspects;
2. n-propanol is used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of probenecid, sodium valproate, erythromycin, dexamethasone, adhesive hemostatic agent BCA, propylthiourea, 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylate dipropyl ester, n-propylamine, etc;
3. Derivatives of n-propanol, especially di-n-propylamine, have many applications in pesticide production, such as being used to produce pesticides such as sulfamethoxazole, isoproterenol, metoclopramide, sulfonamide, and fluoxetine.
4. n-propanol can be used as an analytical reagent, such as a solvent, chromatographic reagent, and chromatographic reagent. N-propanol can be directly used as a solvent and can replace ethanol with a lower boiling point in many cases, such as as as a solvent for plant oils, natural rubber and resins, certain synthetic resins, as well as ethyl cellulose and polyvinyl butyral.
5. N-propanol can also be mixed with alkanes and alkenes as a fuel to increase the temperature during combustion.
We are glad to propose 500 MT of stain less steel mill scale. Mill scale is formed on the outer surfaces during by the hot rolling lamination of stainless-steel products. At a visual inspection the material is a hard brittle sand and is mainly composed of iron oxides, mostly ferric, and is bluish black in colour, but it also contains considerable alloying elements such as chromium and nickel. The recovery ratio after melting in furnace for the most valuable alloy elements is: - Ni: 3.5 - 4.5% - Cr: 6-8% From the chemical and physical analysis performed on the scrap, and according to the European environmental rules, the material has been classified as a special non dangerous waste, listed in green list. In particular the mill scale can be classified as follows: Waste code: 10 02 10 The material is stored on cemented flooring, and it can be loaded loose in tipper trucks or containers. Chemical analysis of the material is available on request.
