Organic Elatou or so called Fir Honey is collected in Greece were the the Kefallinian fir forest dominates in an altitude of >1000m. This particular honey, is not collected from flowers,but instead collected by our bees from the honey produced by microorganisms which derive from the tissue of the fir tree trunk. This is a very special honey, characterized by its reddish color.
PROPERTIES
It is characterized by the presence of metal salts (phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron) Due to its soft but rich texture and its constituents, it has beneficial properties for the stomach and is recommended for stomach ache relief. It has an antiseptic effect at a respiratory level while also acting against bad breath.
