The Higglunds VI motor, the first Higglunds hydraulic motor to leave the assembly line, was originally developed for marine applications for unmatched performance, reliability and control. These properties have also been demonstrated in industrial fields such as pulp and paper and mining.
In marine applications, especially winches in harsh working conditions, Higglunds VI motors provide optimum torque (tension) control regardless of RPM. This reduces the risk of accidental blockages or equipment failure, which reduces equipment maintenance costs and increases
productivity. At the same time, the true freewheel and the very low
moment of inertia make the H�¤gglunds VI motor suitable for a wide range
of applications even in harsh environments.
The Higglunds CBP motor series is an exceptionally powerful motor series. It has all the advantages of Higglunds direct drive hydraulic motors. It is not only small in size, but also light in weight and extremely powerful in output power. It is by far the largest series of Higglunds motors in power (power-to-weight ratio) and can run continuously at higher powers. It is available as flange mount or torque arm mount, all motors are splined and can be provided with through holes. Since this motor can be driven at higher speeds and has a higher efficiency, this motor family opens up new drive solutions for new applications.
