Cold-Pressed and Unrefined: Jojoba Oil From the Deserts of Egypt
We've been growing jojoba in the deserts of Egypt for over 10 years now. Our family-run farm in the Western Desert produces some of the highest quality, unrefined jojoba oil you'll find anywhere. Cold-pressed and barely processed, our golden jojoba oil retains all the natural goodness of the seed. Packed with vitamins and fatty acids, jojoba oil is a natural moisturizer and skin soother like no other. We don't add any chemicals, fragrances or preservatives - our oil is as pure as the desert air. For us, quality is everything. We handpick only the finest seeds and press them within hours of harvesting to ensure maximum freshness. The result is a rich, luxurious oil that leaves your skin feeling soft, nourished and rejuvenated. Simply, "natural"
Jojoba oil is derived from the seeds of the jojoba shrub, a perennial native to the North American deserts. The oil accounts for 50% of the jojoba seed and is extracted by cold-pressing, a process that helps maintain the rich nutritional value of the oil. Jojoba oil and wax are produced from the seeds and used for medicine. Jojoba is applied directly to the skin for acne, psoriasis, sunburn, and chapped skin. It is also used topically to encourage the regrowth of hair in people who are balding.
Organic Jojoba Golden is rich in Vitamin E, a potent antioxidant. When used as an ingredient in personal care products, Organic Jojoba Oil acts as an emulsifying agent that binds water and oil. It also allows personal care formulations to remain potent when stored for long periods of time.
Overview Jojoba oil is most commonly used for skin and hair products and it acts as a natural skin conditioner due to its waxy consistency. It is the ideal carrier oil to mix with other essential oils to apply for massages and other oil treatments. Common Uses Jojoba oil has a proven track record for treatment of acne, eczema and psoriasis. Due to its high oil content it is one of the best moisturising agents against cold and dry conditions. Pure Jojoba essential oil can be rubbed on the skin before bedtime which will not only moisturise the skin, but also act as a healing agent. This essential oil aids in the treatment of dandruff and dermatitis too by massaging the scalp a few times a week. Recommended Storage The ideal storage of essential oils is to keep it refrigerated, as the fridge keeps the components that make up the oils at their optimal levels. If you don't have space in the fridge, you can keep it in a cool, dark place. Essential oils have a shelf life of one to five years. You should however replace essential oils after three years to gain the most benefits out of the essential oils.
