This is a frost resistant slate / quartzite. The Himachal Green Slate Stones range is characterized with well-marked splittable cleavages with or without developed recrystallization and spots/knots of other minerals. Himachal Green slate / quartzite is compact and less homogenous displaying varying textures and shades. Honed / Polished Himachal Green Slate / quartzite displays excellent patterns & layers of mica and quartz on the surface. This stone can be used in any application.
