Gboard Rg

Gboar ContraSag RG is a lightweight and hard-edged plasterboard with enhanced sag resistant properties. It is mainly used for interior ceiling applications. The core of the board consists of a special combination of non-combustible gypsum, reinforced with ï¬?berglass and special additives. Gboard�® Gboard�® ContraSag is available in two different types: Regular and Moisture resistant. Gboard�® ContraSag RG has an ivory paper face and Gboard�® ContraSag MR has a green paper face. By using Gboard�® ContraSag, material costs are greatly reduced mainly because of the lower number of metal frames required for installation (for the same application area compared with regular types of gypsum boards). To achieve the same structural integrity as other gypsum board suspended ceiling systems, the required thickness of the metal frames is also reduced

Advantages
Gboard�® ContraSag RG is extremely lightweight, therefore it is exceptionnaly easy to handle when fixing it on suspended ceiling framing systems
The large spacing between the furring channels results in using less metal frames leading to cost reduction
