Marine Bronze Valves are a type of valve designed specifically for use in boats and other marine vessels. Made from a combination of copper and tin, Marine Bronze Valves offer superior corrosion resistance, a wide range of temperature ratings, and high strength and durability. This makes them ideal for use in a variety of marine applications, such as fuel and water systems, outboard motors, cooling systems, and more.
Unlike several other types of valves, Marine Bronze Valves have a flat-face design that reduces the chances of leakage. They typically contain an O-ring for further sealing, and in extreme environments, a heat-treated Teflon body gasket may be used for added stability and protection from corrosion. However, because Bronze Valves have a flat face rather than a concave or convex shape, they cannot be effectively used in high-pressure applications.
