Surgical tape or medical tape is a type of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape used in medicine and first aid to hold a bandage or other dressing onto a wound.
Silk surgical tape, a type of medical tape, made of acetate fabric coated with medical grade adhesive (usually hot-melt adhesive or acrylic adhesive).
It is hypoallergenic, durable, latex free, easy to tear, good sticky. It is conformable but adheres well, less pain on removal, permeable to air and water vapor, leaves little residue upon removal, zigzag edges for easy tear by hand. It is for taping and banding use.
