This cocopeat growing medium is made from fine coconut husk powder, obtained from the shredding of coconut shells.
The texture of cocopeat is almost similar to soil, and one of its advantages is that it retains water longer than regular soil.

Cocopeat is usually mixed with burnt rice husks or soil for better water absorption, or it can be used without any mixture.
