Industrial Grade Sodium Hexametaphosphate(SHMP)application:.
It could be used as scale Inhibitor in water treatment (such as EDI,RO,NF),water softer of boiler water(Such as water for dying industry,TiO2 industry etc)
It could be used as corrosin inhibitor,dispersing agent,flotation agent,high temprature adhesives,metal surface treatment,antirust agent,detergent auxiliary,dying auxiliary,cement solidfication accelerant.
Colorless to white acicular crystal or crystalline powder, anhydrous substance or crystalline water containing 1 ~ 12 molecules, odorless. Dodecahydrate melting point 73.4 C. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. The pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 11.5 ~ 12.1.
Be used for
Application in Detergent.
For the ability of complex with Fe,SHMP is the strongest.TSPP could react with Ca2+,Mg2+ to form water soluble complex.,but with Ca,TSPP is the strongest;STPP is the middle.
TSPP could react with water insoluble dust as flocuulation when wash clothes and also emulsify insoluble oils;
TSPP could cause lower surface tension and interfacial tension to mius the usage of surface active materials.
Boiler scale inhibitor, water softener in paper dyeing, pH buffer for adhesive used in wax gloss paper production, color fixing agent in printing and dyeing, mercerization enhancer of fabric and anti embrittlement agent in thread making. Metallurgical industry is used for chemical degreasing and decontamination, and as an excellent accelerator in photographic development solution.
