Disodium Phosphate Anhydrous Food Grade is used mainly as a chelating agent, preservative, pH buffer, stabilizer and emulsifier in food industry. It works as an Emulsifier which helps to bind fats and water together in goods like Cheese, whipped cream, milk, and other dairy products which have a unique textures and consistencies because of disodium phosphate anhydrous food grade. Disodium phosphate Anhydrous Food Grade is used as a pH Controlling agent in cosmetics, skin creams, and shampoos. It can also be used in food and cosmetics to prevent rust in packaging.

Disodium Phosphate is a derivative of Phosphoric Acid. Disodium Phosphate is moderately soluble in water. Disodium Phosphate is a white crystalline powder. Disodium Phosphate decomposes at 250oC. It should be stored in tightly closed containers in a Room Temperature.
Disodium Phosphate is used in cream of Wheat to quicken cooking time. It is also used in conjunction with Trisodium Phosphate in many steam Boilers. It is also used in Metal Treatment & is a component of Cleaners. It is also used as a Buffer & Emulsifiers in Food application. Disodium Phosphate is also used as a Reagent & Buffer in Analytical Chemistry.

[uses]: used as boiler water softener; treatment of leather and fabrics to increase weight; flame retardant for fabrics, wood and paper in dyeing; culture medium for biochemical treatment; raw material for production of sodium pyrophosphate and other phosphates.
5. Performance: white or colorless orthorhombic crystal or monoclinic crystal, easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, relative density is 1.52, melting point is 34.6 â??, it loses crystal water and becomes anhydrous at 180 â??.
6. Uses: Used as bakery products in food, to prevent oxidative discoloration, as emulsifier for dairy products, to prevent protein coagulation, for solid beverages to chelate, emulsify and buffer.
