Powdered activated carbon is made from high-quality sawdust, coconut shell, and coal through a series of production processes. Powdered activated carbon has the advantages of fast filtration, good adsorption performance, strong decolorization, and odor removal ability, economy, and durability. Powdered activated carbon can be made according to user requirements in different adsorption capacities of different bleaching, the level of activated carbon with different fineness. Powdered activated carbon at high speed, with flocculation effect and filtering effect.
Raw Activated Carbon Powder can be used for all liquid phase filtration applications. It is commonly used to filter chloramines and organic compounds, including pesticides and herbicides, from drinking water. Additional applications include: * Pharmaceutical * Oil & Gas * Drinking water treatment * Groundwater remediation * Wastewater treatment * Pulp & Paper * Brewery & Winery * Dechlorination/chloramine reduction * Removal of organic contaminants * Taste and odor reduction * Disinfection-by-product (DBP) removal
Our Powder activated carbon is manufactured using pure pine wood which is an excellent base for manufacturing activated carbons with good adsorption power. The steam activated process is done by activating the charcoal in a rotary kiln by heating at high temperatures by steam. The activated carbon that comes out from the kiln is called unwashed activated carbon. These unwashed activated carbon has higher ash and iron content. This is reduced by washing the unwashed activated carbon with acid (HCl / H2SO4) and purified water. This results in reduction of ash content to as low as 1% and iron as low as 50 ppm. The gradation of different qualities of activated carbon is done on the basis of Methylene blue value and iodine value. The iodine value is a better test as the particle size of iodine molecule is small enough to penetrate the smallest of pores. We can relate the iodine value of activated carbon directly to its surface area because of the above fact.

Minimum Order Quantity:1 Accept Small Orders: No Country Of Origin : India Business Type: Manufacturer, Exporter, Supplier Type: Activated Application: Water Purification Color: Black Product Details Purity : 99% Form : Powdered Hardness : >90% Features & Benefits Powdered activated carbons (PAC) are defined by the ASTM as particles passing through an 80-mesh sieve (0.177 mm) and smaller. CG Carbon manufactures many types of powdered activated carbon products, each specifically engineered to provide a unique pore structure and adsorption properties. By varying manufacturing conditions, internal pore structures are created by imparting unique adsorption properties specific to each product type. The choice of product for a specific application will vary due to differing impurities and proprietary process conditions. The adsorptive capacity of CG Carbon's powdered activated carbon (PAC) makes it ideal for removing a variety of contaminants from water, air, liquids and gases. With efforts to be environmentally responsible, CG Carbon can reactivate spent Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) through thermal oxidation to make react PAC. Cg Carbon backs its products with comprehensive analytical support including feasibility studies and cost evaluations, together with complete system design, service, and troubleshooting. Customers get the expertise of an industry expert in powdered activated carbon backed by a commitment to service one can trust
Powder activated carbon
The ZT series of activated carbon are made by advanced equipment and especial techniques with selected high-quality sawdust as raw materials. It has highly developed macropore structure, with reasonable distribution of transitional pores and small pores. It can efficiently adsorb various pigments and impurity of rice starch syrups, corn starch syrups, potato starch syrups, sugar cane syrups, beet syrups, fruit syrups and xylitol Syrups etc.It is a high-quality adsorbent for glucose, xylitol, sucrose, caramel, fructose and other syrup raw materials and products. Packing: 20kg / bag, inner plastic bag, outer woven bag
The coal based powder activated carbon is made of high quality anthracite coal as raw material; by special production process (first carbonization and activation, then grinding into powder) is refined. This product is the appearance of black powder, are not dissolved under the general solution. Odorless, has a flocculation effect and filtration effects and large surface area, adsorption ability, high purity, filter fast, quality stable.

Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) is similar to Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) as it is made from high quality coal, wood or coconut shell raw material. Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) is a high performance absorbent engineered to remove harmful contaminants in the air, gas, and liquid phases. The potable water industry has long used PAC products to effectively remove taste and odor compounds, and provide clean water that is safe to drink.
