We wish to inform you that we have invented a new micro silica powder that has a real chemical effect on concrete, cement and other products. Our factory can make different analyses, purity, density, size as per customer's specifications. Our micro silica powder with silicium criterion of 86 to 94 per cent meets Iranian Standards of 13278 and ASTMC1240 with confirmation from ministry of Road, Housing and Urbanization department. Our product is exported to EU and Asian countries through our offices in Oman, Turkey, Dubai and has got EU approvals. This material is used to protect concretes against corrosion, pressure and electricity conduction and potentially applicable in constructions, hard-melts and polymer industries. Micro Silica is used as a pozzolan material or a part of Portland cement mixture or mineral additives in concrete. Commercially, micro silica is limited to 15-20% of the total mass of cement materials. This amount of micro silica is usually having useful effects in economy, efficiency and cost of concrete, being essential for increasing durability against sulphate attacks, Alkaline Silica extension and thermal cracks.
Microsilica, also known as silica fume, it is a very fine pozzolanic material, composed of amorphous silica produced byelectric arc furnaces as a byproduct of the production of elemental silicon or ferro silicon alloys.Microsilica can be used in a variety of cementitious products such as concrete, grouts, and mortars as well as elastomer, polymer, refractory, ceramic and rubber applications. Silica fume is widely used in concrete field: High-performance project, such as bridge, airport, hydropowder station, seawall, railway projects. 1)Enhance the mechanical properties of concrete. High strength and early strength has been used in substructures of high-performance concrete. 2)Improve the durability of concrete: Significant improvements can be seen in the permeability resistance, abrasion resistance, anti-corrosion against chlorideion and anti-freezing of concrete. 3)Enhance consructability. Improve shotconrete, increase easly strength, control temperature contractors can take advantage of the properties of silica fume concrete to expedite projects or to achieve properties that migh otherwise be impossible to achieve.
Microsilica (silica fume) is a by-product of silicon metal or ferrosilicon industries, is an amorphous silicon dioxide SiO2. This product reacts chemically with the calcium hydroxide in the cement paste which yields a calcium silicate hydrate gel that significantly enhances strength and durability. The super fine microsilica fills the voids between cement particles creating a very dense, less permeable concrete. Physical characteristics: Color: gray or gray white powder Bulk density: 320-700 kg/m3 Chemical composition: Items SiO2 Al2O3 Fe2O3 MgO CaO Na2O Moisture Content 75-98% 1.0-0.2% 0.9-0.3% 0.7-0.1% 0.3-0.1% 1.3-0.2% Fineness: the fineness of the silica fume is less than 1 1/4m, and the average particle size is 0.1 0.3 1/4m, and the specific surface area is 20 - 28 m2/g. The fineness and specific surface area are about 80-100 times of cement and 50-70 times of fly ash. Maxtech Micro Silica supplies will be as per QCS 2014 (ASTM C1240): SiO2: >/= 92% LOI:
Micro Silica Sand: Micro silica also known as fume, is an amorphous (non-crystalline) polymorph of silicon dioxide, silica. It is an ultrafine powder collected as a by-product of the silicon and ferrosilicon alloy production and consists of spherical particles with an average particle diameter of 150 mm. The main field of application is as pozzolanic for high performance concrete because of its extreme fineness and high silica. Applications : Silica is added to Portland cement concrete to improve its properties, in particular its compressive strength, bond strength, and abrasion resistance. These improvements stem from both the mechanical improvements resulting from addition of a very fine powder to the cement paste mix as well as from the pozzolanic reactions between the silica fume and free calcium hydroxide in the paste. Advantages : Addition of silica also reduces the permeability of concrete to chloride ions, which protects the reinforcing steel of concrete from corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments such as coastal regions and those of humid continental roadways and runways (because of the use of deicing salts) and saltwater bridges.
Natural Silica (chemical name for the mineral quartz and a synonym for silicon dioxide) Silica is a compound of the elements silicon and oxygen. It is not chemically combined with other elements. When the basic structure of the molecule is a pattern that is repeated and symmetrical, the silica is considered to be "crystalline." Silica is considered to be amorphous if the molecule lacks crystalline structure. In this brochure, the term silica is used to mean crystalline silica (or crystalline silica's most common form, quartz). Used in manufacture of special steels and cast iron, aluminum alloys, glass and refractory materials, ceramics, abrasives, water filtration, component of hydraulic cements, filler in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, paper, insecticides, rubber reinforcing agent - especially for high adhesion to textiles, anti-caking agent in foods, flatting agent in paints, thermal insulator. Fused silica is used as an ablative material in rocket engines, spacecraft, silica fibers used in reinforced plastics. Available in Micro silica, Fused Silica, Amorphous Silica, Precipitated silica, Quartz powder different mesh sizes and fine powder as per requirement. Packing: Standard 25kg. HDPE wove sack or paper bag. 25kg, 50kg, 980kgs.Junbo packs.

As a general rule, The purer the sand, the clearer the products Silicon and oxygen are the earth's two most abundant elements and together they make silica, one of the earths three most common rock forming minerals. Akshar Minerals Silica sand is high purity natural crystalline silica. It is inherently bright, white, low in moisture and chemically inert in nature. Basically, It is made up of two main element Silica & Oxygen. Silica sand is made up of Silicon Dioxide. There are number of different uses of silica sand in the industrial and commercial sector, from golf courses to glass making . The chemical formula of Silica Sand is SiO2 Characteristics : High Purity Weather Resistant White Appearance Naturally Hard Controlled Particle size Chemically Inert Applications Akshar Minerals Silica sand is used depends on physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics such as grain size, shape color, structure and distribution as well as refractoriness strength and stability. There characteristics can differ depending on how mineral is processed after it is mined. This product gets easily mixed and can be used for high temperature applications like flat glass, furnace tubes and many more due to its excellent thermal expansion, hardness. We are named among the renowned Manufacturers, Exporters and Suppliers of Micro Silica Powder. It is formulated under the strict vigilance of experts so as to ensure its accurate composition. One can place retail as well as bulk orders for Micro Silica Powder with us. Description : Silica fume consists of very fine particles. Because of its extreme fineness and high silica content, silica fume is a highly effective pozzolanic material. Being a highly reactive pozzolan, silica fume chemically reacts with the calcium hydroxide present in the cement paste, creating a stronger calcium silica hydrate 'making it sticky'. The result is improved paste to aggregate bond (excellent for shotcrete) and higher concrete strengths. Silica Fume is typically grey in colour and is categorised as a supplementary cementitious material (SCM). Silica Fume is compliant to AS/NZ 3582.3:2002 and is described as a Densified Amorphous Fumed Silica. Typical Uses : Silica Fume can be used to produce all grades of concretes. The chemical and physical properties of Silica Fume can greatly enhance the strength performance and the bonding properties of concrete. Silica Fume can be used in various applications and projects: Commercial, Civil, Mining and Marine projects. Silica Fume is suitable for inclusion in general concrete mix designs and in particular has application in high strength/ performance concretes and shotcrete / spray mixes. Features : The addition of Silica Fume can provide; Increase compressive strength Reduces chloride ion permeability Increase abrasion resistance Enhanced sulphate resistance Improved durability Enhanced resistance to chemical attack and deterioration Increase bond strength
