Mica Plates

They are made with cut condensor films that are thoroughly cleaned with the help of dc-greasing agents and are then silvered on both sides by screen printing process. There is perfect adhesion between mica and silver which results in optimum performance of the plates.

Mica sheet is made of high-quality Muscovite paper, phlogopite paper or synthetic mica paper as the base material,high-temperature silicone resin as the adhesive, baked and pressed at high temperature.
Hard mica board is specially developed and designed to meet the characteristic requirements of high temperature insulation and electrical insulation. It is mainly used in the following industries:
1.Household appliances industry (including oven, toaster, hair dryer, electric kettle, electric iron, air heater, curler, electricwire heater, wallboard heater, etc.)
2.Metallurgical Industry (electric frequency furnace, industrial frequency furnace, electric arc furnace, etc.)

Brief Introduction:
Huayuan synthetic mica is produced by hot melting method according to the chemical compositions and inner structures of natural mica. Synthetic mica forms through heating, melting, cooling and crystallization. The raw materials are blended, including quartz sand, potassium carbonate, aluminium oxide, potassium fluosilicate, fused magnesite and some other minerals. It has advantage of smoother surface, higher whiteness and purity. Synthetic mica is free from heavy metals that are harmful to human body.

Mica scrap is the nomenclature given to the irregular lumps of mica as received from the mines having a area between 1/2" and 1 1/2" sq. This type of mica is mainly exported to plants all over the world to be made into a pulp used for the manufacturing of mica paper and reconstituted mica plates. Domestically, it is used as a raw material for the manufacture of mica flakes and powder.
