Product Introduction:

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), with the chemical formula (C10H8O4) n, is synthesized by exchanging dimethyl terephthalate with ethylene glycol ester or esterification of terephthalic acid with ethylene glycol, followed by condensation reaction to obtain dihydroxyethyl terephthalate. Belonging to crystalline saturated polyester, it is a milky white or light yellow, highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and glossy surface. It is a common resin in daily life and can be divided into APET, RPET, and PETG.

It has excellent physical and mechanical properties over a wide temperature range, with a usage temperature of up to 120. Its electrical insulation is excellent, and even at high temperatures and frequencies, its electrical performance is still good. However, it has poor corona resistance, creep resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance, and dimensional stability.


Product advantages:


1. It has good mechanical properties, with an impact strength 3-5 times that of other films, and good bending resistance.

2. Oil resistant, fat resistant, acid and alkali resistant, and resistant to most solvents.

3. It can be used for a long time in the temperature range of 55-60, and can withstand high temperatures of 65 and low temperatures of -70 for short-term use. Moreover, its mechanical properties are minimally affected by high and low temperatures.

4. Gas and water vapor have low permeability and excellent resistance to gas, water, oil, and odor.

5. High transparency, can block ultraviolet rays, and has good gloss.

6. It is non-toxic, odorless, and has good hygiene and safety, and can be directly used for food packaging.
