Common metallic gaskets are Spiral Wound Gaskets, Double Jacketed Metal Gaskets, Solid Metal Gaskets, Corrugated Metal Gaskets, Ring Type Joint Gasket used for heat exchangers, compressors, condensers, pumps, valves and turbines. These metallic gaskets are suitable for high pressure & temperature applications and require high bolt load to seal. They are easily available either in sheet form or as gaskets that are cut accurately to any reasonable shape and size. Non metallic gaskets are usually manufactured from materials like arimid fiber, glass fiber, elastomers, teflon (PTFE), compressed asbestos fibre (CAF), flexible graphite etc. Types are: Non Asbestos, Asbestos, Flexible Graphite, PTFE, Viton, Silicone Rubber, Neoprene and Flange Gaskets.
Product Description The cylinder neck ring mounts to a seamless high pressure cylinder to provide a means of attachment for the cylinder valve protection device, whether it be a cap, valve guard or other valve protective device. Due to the varying boss sizes on cylinders, our neck rings are custom made to fit your manufacturing needs. The most common sizes are maintained in stock at our Wheatland facility. The neck ring can also double as an identifying label on the flange of the neck ring by embossing your company name, logo and phone number if desired.
