Our foam hand sanitizer uses the MicroBIOstatic Clean System nanotechnology, which is an EPA registered antimicrobial process that protects against microbes, such as viruses, bacteria, and molds. When rubbed onto hands, the MicroBIOstatic nano antimicrobial coating forms a covalent bond with the surface providing lasting protection for up to six hours with one application. Other hand sanitizers typically provide less than two minutes of protection after application.

The Science behind the Antimicrobial Nanotechnology
The coating forms a nano-bed shield of spikes, each of which carries a positive charge that attracts the negatively charged microbes. Once attracted, the molecular spikes physically pierce the cell and rupture its cell membrane, mechanically eliminating the microorganism. Unlike chemical antimicrobial processes, the mechanical structures (spikes) remain after destroying the microorganism, ready to once again do the heavy lifting on the next microbe.
