Pure sulfuric acid does not occur naturally due to its strong affinity to water vapor; it is hygroscopic and readily absorbs water vapor from the air. Concentrated sulfuric acid is highly corrosive towards other materials, from rocks to metals, since it is an oxidant with powerful dehydrating properties. Phosphorus pentoxide is a notable exception in that it is not dehydrated by sulfuric acid but, to the contrary, dehydrates sulfuric acid to sulfur trioxide. Upon addition of sulfuric acid to water, a considerable amount of heat is released; thus, the reverse procedure of adding water to the acid should not be performed since the heat released may boil the solution, spraying droplets of hot acid during the process. Upon contact with body tissue, sulfuric acid can cause severe acidic chemical burns and even secondary thermal burns due to dehydration. Dilute sulfuric acid is substantially less hazardous without the oxidative and dehydrating properties; however, it should still be handled with care for its acidity.

Key Specifications/Special Features Sulfur is one of the most important agricultural and industrial raw materials and is considered a strategic product sulfur is an odourless, tasteless and polyvalent nonmetal which is mostly in the form of yellow crystals and is obtained from sulphide and sulphate. Sulphur occurs naturally in the environment and is the thirteenth most abundant element in the earth’s crust. It can be mined in its elemental form, although this method has declined over the last decade to less than 2% of world production. Today most elemental sulphur is obtained as a co-product recovered from oil and gas production in sweetening process. e. Harmonization System (HS) Code : 2503 f. Minimum Order Size : 100 MT g. Sulfuric Acid
Sulfuric acid Sulfuric acid is the most necessary and versatile chemical substance in the world. the product is used in almost all industrial sectors. Typical areas of use are the production of fertilizers and pigments as well as in metal ore extraction. In addition, sulfuric acid is used widely in the chemical industry in the production of fibers, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine drying, etc. The sources of raw materials for the production of most sulfur acid grades are sulfur and sulfur dioxide (so2). The technological gases formed in the pyrometallurgical processes for copper extraction are utilized in our production processes. Although the sulfuric acid produced by aurubis bulgaria is among the highest quality on the market, the company also invests in the initial stages of purification in order to further increase the quality of the product.
