Plaster of Paris Powder is widely used for the construction purpose as it is a great material which takes very less time to set up in the interiors of the rooms. Plaster of Paris is manufactured by heating Gypsum at 120 to 160 Degree Celsius.
When Plaster of Paris is mixed with water it re hydrates and forms a dense matrix of gypsum crystals.
1. Gypsum powder quality standard: in compliance with GB/T 9776-2008 2. The natural gypsum should be in conformity with requirements of "gypsum rock(JC/T700) for making cementing material" gypsum rock of Grade 3 or more higher grades. Classification: It is classified to be three grades: 3.0,2.0,and 1.6 according to its 2h strength(breaking strength). Composition: β-GaSO4·1/2H2O content(mass fraction) in Calcined gypsum should be not less than 60.0%.
