Toughened glass is a safety glass that has undergone processes of controlled thermal treatment to increase its strength. Also known as 'Tempered glass', toughened glass is made from annealed glass that has been heated to approximately 650â?°C and then rapidly cooled, making it four times stronger than ordinary glass. Due to the increased heat treatment and rapid cooling of the glass, the treatment produces different physical properties. This results in compressive stress on the surface and improved bending strength of the glass. Before toughening, the glass must be cut to the correct size or pressed to shape. The Process of Toughening The glass is carried by rollers and goes through the furnace. Three types of modes are used to heat the glass - conduction, convection, and radiation. While the rollers help to conduct the heat, the coils enable radiation of heat. This ensures that the glass is evenly heated on every side. By blasting air on both the surfaces, the heated glass is then cooled uniformly.
JHG silk-screen printed glass is one kind of decorative glass made by printing layer of ceramic ink on the surface of glass through the screen mesh for tempering or heat-strengthening process after. As a result silk-screen printed glass is durable, scratch-proof, solar shading and with anti-glare effect. Silk screen glass is widely usded for architecture ,home application ,furniture , auto window shild. Max size 2440*3660mm ,All colour is available .
JHG offer 3-5mm from 90-98% LT glass with rectangular sizes, shape sizes for greenhouse, hobby glass house. JHG may offer different greenhouse glass items: Tempered low iron glass 91+ Tempered clear glass 89+ Tempered AR glass 95+ Tempered diffuse glass with 30-75 Haze Greenhouse Glass Advantage: Durability, Glass is the strongest of all greenhouse materials Becautiful Appearance. High light transmission, high UV available Shatter-Resistant
It is processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass, about four times stronger than annealed, glass. When broken, tempered glass fractures into small, relatively harmless pieces, it is widen used for window, door, railing, furniture, vehicle.
Insulated glass, often referred to as double glazing or double-pane glass, consists of two or more glass panes separated by a sealed air space or gas fill. This design enhances thermal insulation, reducing heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer. Insulated glass improves energy efficiency, minimizes condensation on windows, and enhances indoor comfort.
