Raw Bauxite: Bauxite is a soft, whitish to reddish-brown rock consisting mainly of alumina-bearing hydroxides, oxides of iron, silicon and titanium with impurities of Ca, Mg, Cr, V, P, Ga and other elements. Raw Bauxite is a major source of aluminium. Basic alumina containing minerals of Bauxites are gibbsite Al(OH)3, Boehmite g-AlO(OH) and Diaspore a-AlO(OH). We are a major Raw Bauxite Exporter based in Maharashtra (India) and catering to the diverse demands of several middle and eastern Asian countries. About Raw Bauxite: The processing of Raw Bauxite is done at a number of alumina refineries in the world. Bauxite can be processed at a low-temperature autoclave digestion (145 oC to 155 oC). Raw Bauxite can be used also for sweetening stage and for non-autoclave digestion in agitators (105 oC). About 85% of bauxite mined worldwide is used to produce alumina for refining into Aluminium metal and the balance 15% is processed and value added to make its way to other uses like refractory, chemical, cement, abrasives, etc. Aluminium is possibly the most versatile product with applications in almost every industry. Since Bauxite is the primary source for Aluminium there will always be an ongoing promising demand for the same. Application & Uses of Bauxite: Raw Bauxite is successfully used for metallurgical grade alumina production besides applications in the cement industry, alumina chemical, steel, alum, energy industries, flame-retardants, etc. Bauxite is used in : - Aluminium - Cement - Chemical - Blast Furnaces - Iron/Steel Ladles, etc. Advantages of Artha Bauxite: Artha Mineral Resources has good sources for Gibbsitic Bauxite which requires low digestion temperature (145 oC -155 oC) making it more economical to process. Mines are also in close proximity to all-weather ports which makes it very convenient and cost effective to ship this material.

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF THE MINERAL MICA Chemical Composition: The general formula for mica group minerals is XY Z O (OH, F) : X: Can be K, Na, Ba, Ca, Cs, (HO), or (NH). Y: Includes Al, Mg, Fe, Li, Cr, Mn, V, and Zn. Z: Comprises Si, Al, Fe, Be, and Ti. The chemical properties of mica minerals vary depending on the specific type of mica. However, all micas are silica (SiO2), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), and potassium oxide (K2O). Some micas may contain other elements, such as iron oxide (Fe2O3) and magnesium oxide (MgO). The following table shows the chemical composition of some common mica minerals: Mica mineral SiO2 Al2O3 K2O Fe2O3 MgO Muscovite 45.57 33.1 9.87 0 0 Biotite 47.7 30.9 3 10 3 Phlogopite 47.5 31 3 0 15 Of the 28 known species of mica, six are common rock-forming minerals: Muscovite: The common light-colored mica. Biotite: Typically black or nearly black. Phlogopite: Typically brown. Paragonite: Macroscopically indistinguishable from muscovite. Lepidolite: Generally pinkish to lilac; occurs in lithium-bearing pegmatites. Glauconite: A green species found sporadically in marine sedimentary sequences.
Commodity 1 has direct access to Nigerian columbite ores. Nigerian columbite ore has two unique characteristics. First, the Nigerian columbite ore is a nascent, untapped market opportunity. Elementally, the ore is one of the best in the world, with up to 60% of columbite in it. It contains high amounts of niobium and tantalum and the least impurities. Second, the Nigerian government estimates that the country has one of the world's largest reserves of columbite ore. Overall, the future for the global columbite market is positive. Due to their use in various high-tech applications, the demand for niobium and tantalum will increase in the coming years. Commodity 1 can be your reliable partner in your supply chain requirement. Commodity 1 has streamlined the shipping process for our valuable customers. Second, due to its proximity to significant tantalum markets, our buyers from China and the United States have a shipping advantage. Owing to its low cost and platy structure, Talc Powder for Paint Industry has gained prominence. Talc is used primarily in industrial paint and coatings, wood lacquers, printing inks, fillers as well as in various coatings. ... Talc increases coverage and weather resistance of the products. The use of talc creates a barri er effect, which limits the penetration of water and corrosive agents into paints and coatings. The Talc Powder for Paint Industry, which we provide, is particularly used in Paints and protective coatings. We provide the Talc Powder for Paint Industry at competitive rates to the clients. The amount of Talc used in paints varies between 2 to 30%. Also the fineness of Talc used in paints varies between 100 to 20. The oil absorption of Talc used in Paints is between 40 to 60 gm per 100 gms House paints, as titanium dioxide extenders to reduce cracking and sagging, and enhance matting. In anti-corrosion primers to improve corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. Features: Mud Cracking Resistance Our Talc's platy particles act as bridges between binder agglomerates and strengthen the paint film. The higher the aspect ratio and particle size of the Talc, the better the mud cracking resistance. Matting Our Talc gives a silky look to paints. Coarse, lamellar talc particles are very efficient matting agents in high PVC paints. Our fine Talc with high surface area can be used to absorb excess binder and give a flattening effect to paints or coatings below critical PVC. High Solids Our double classified, de-dusted Talc with low surface area (low oil absorption) allow a higher filler loading in high solids coatings, resulting in lower VOC emission, lower formulation cost and improved performance at the same time. Barrier Effect The Talc platelets reduce oxygen or water transmission, and protect the binder from UV radiation, thus improving the weather resistance of outdoor paints. Wet scrub resistance Our Talc grades improve the wet scrub resistance of decorative paints, in contrast to Talc containing chlorite (Mg-Al-Silicate), which is not hydrophobic. Anti-corrosive The same barrier effect reduces migration of corrosive agents through steel protective coatings. At the same time, the hydrophobic (unipolar) Talc increases the adhesion of the coating film on the steel substrate, while the platelets improve the mechanical strength of the film.
