FLD stainless steel sintered wire mesh pleated filter elements / cartridges are made of woven wire cloth or sintered wire mesh or sintered fiber web.

The pleated filter cartridge has a shape of candle in long and thin. so it is called candle filter/cartridge. The pleated candle filter is made with single or double layer of woven wire mesh, the perforated metal tube as support layer, welded together with bolts and caps on both ends. But some pleated filters are made without perforated metal as supporting layer.

Candle pleated Filter Media:

The Pleated candle Filter Elements are mainly three types: Stainless steel sintered fiber felt; sintered wire mesh and stainless steel woven wire mesh. Stainless Steel Sintered Fiber felt is a kind of durable and pleating filter medium, sintered into a graded pore structure. So the sintered metal fiber felt enjoy the advantages of high porosity rate, large efficiency filtration area, high dirt holding capacity and replaced.
