ASTM A131 Grade EH36 shipbuilding steels have good weldability and bendability, other workshop properties correspond to those of structural steels of same strength class. ASTM A131 Grade EH36 shipbuilding steel heavy plates yield strenght is specified minimum yield points of either 46 ksi [315 MPa]. Shipbuilding steel ASTM A131 Grade EH36 is used in offshore applications.
