High-Oleic means that it has a high level of monounsaturated fats, with an oleic percentage of 73% or more. High-oleic safflower oil is very stable, with a long shelf-life and an ability to withstand high temperatures. Safflower can be added in a cold or heated process of formulations without damaging the oil.

Sunflower Oil, High Oleic is a highly moisturizing oil extracted from the seeds of the Sunflower plant. Sunflower Oil, High Oleic is rich in essential fatty acids, primarily oleic (C18:1). Our Sunflower Oil, High Oleic is expeller pressed and then the oil is refined resulting in an oil with a bland odor and a honey color. The high oleic acid content, among other effects, has a positive effect on the oxidative stability of this oil. It is also used as a trans free oil solution for customers. The oil has many uses including bakery applications, spray coating oils for cereal, crackers and dried fruit; it is used in non-dairy creamers, many types of frying and other uses.
