Formic acid, the simple carboxylic acid is a colorless liquid. A major use of Formic Acid, is as a preservative and antibacterial agent in livestock feed. It is also used for decalcifier; reducer in dyeing for wool fast colours; dehairing and plumping hides; tanning; electroplating; coagulating rubber latex; silage and grain preservation; additive in regenerating old rubber; solvents of perfume; lacquers; alkylating agent for alcohols; carboxylating agent for tertiary compounds. Its used in water treatment and dyeing and finishing paper, also in the production of fumigants and refrigerants. It is also used as an intermediate for the production of a wide variety of products in the chemicals and pharmaceutical industries.

Formic acid is a kind of organic matter, chemical formula is HCOOH, molecular weight 46.03, common name formic acid, is the simplest carboxylic acid. A colorless liquid with a pungent odor. Formic acid is a weak electrolyte, but its aqueous solution is weak acid and corrosive, can stimulate skin blistering. It is commonly found in the secretions of bees, some ants and caterpillars. It is an organic chemical material, also used as a disinfectant and preservative. Product usage Used for production of chemical products, rubber coagulant, and used in textile, printing, electroplating, etc. Formic acid one of the organic chemical raw materials and extensively used in pesticide, leather, pharmaceutical, rubber, printing, chemical raw material and other industries.

The primary use of Ammonium Sulphate is as a fertilizer for alkaline soils. In the soil the ammonium ion is released and forms a small amount of acid, lowering the pH balance of the soil, while contributing essential nitrogen for plant growth. The main disadvantage to the use of Ammonium Sulphate is its low nitrogen content relative to Ammonium Nitrate, which elevates transportation costs. It is also used as an agricultural spray adjuvant for water soluble insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides. There it functions to bind iron and calcium cations that are present in both well water and plant cells. It is particularly effective as an adjuvant for 2,4-D (amine), glyphosate and glufosinate herbicides.
Formic Acid is mainly used in leather tanning and textile dyeing.
