The quality of sea water will greatly determine the quality of the salt that will be produced. Sea water contains many dissolved substances that are difficult to evaporate, which means the evaporation process is very slow. Sea water quality is also influenced by the presence of rain, the nature of sea water tides, proximity to river estuaries or industry.
We use Salt Tunnel System with Multilevel Crystallization; this method is necessary to control the concentration of sea water in the salt ponds using a Baume meter (Be)

Lead time for one cycle salt process from entering sea water to sea salt (NaCl) is about 30-45 days for Natural Sea Salt and Refined Iodized. Lead time for Natural Crystal Sea Salt about 90 â?? 140 days. Coarse Sea Salt use different method, its using membrane system, dried on open pond. It has shorter lead time, is about 15-20 days.
