We supply tropical pine bark from natural forest in sumatera island, indonesia. Our product is absolutely clean, unpolluted and without chemical additived. Pine bark is good for use as orchid growing medium and as landscape beds, walkways and path. It works well as a decorative ground cover. Pine bark helps prevent weed growth, insulate soil to protect roots in cold weather and retain moisture in soil so it could reduce the need for watering. Our pine bark is meticulously hand picked and free from bast, cambium, wood and impurities. Since it has been going through the drying process, crushing and sorting into different grain sizes, the pine bark has retain its natural shape, the structure and the surface remains unchanged. Our grading: Size 1 (large) : 4 to 6 cm Size 2 (medium large) : 3 to 4 cm Size 3 (middle) : 2 to 3 cm Size 4 (medium fine) : 1 to 2 cm Size 5 (fine) : 0.5 to 1.5 cm Size 6 (super fine) : under 0.5 cm Large and medium large are used as a rough substrate, and often used as decorative element in garden design. Middle, medium fine and fine are used by orchid grower as classic substrate sizes in the pot of orchid. Super fine is a very fine granular material which is suitable for pricking out.
