Low-Density Polyethylene ( LDPE ), with excellent properties. Its a Thermoplastic Polymer derived from Petroleum, LDPE characterized by its low desity and known for its flaxibily. We offer these grades of LPDE , LFI 2119 , LFI 2125A , LEC 1969 , LFI 2047A , LIM 1922.
LDPE, which is generally colorless, translucent, flexible, odorless, tasteless plastic, is one of the most excellent properties of heat sealability and can be adhered at about 120 C. Because of this feature, it is widely used as an intermediate layer to connect two layers which do not stick to each other thermally in the coatings. It also has favorable properties such as being transparent and resistant to tearing, significantly reducing water vapor permeability, and significantly reducing its elasticity at low levels.
LDPE is a solid thermoplastic produced from ethylene. Key important properties include chemical resistance, moisture resistance and general barrier properties. LDPE is readily processed by all thermoplastic methods. LDPE is widely used in the manufacture of various containers, dispensing bottles, tubing, plastic bags, plastic film (food packaging, industrial liners), coated containers (e.g. juice cartons) and a wide range of moulded parts.
