Desiccated coconut is made from brown coconut; white meat of the coconut is shredded to desired sizes i.e. in the form of granules, flakes, shred or chips. It is available in the form of high or low fat. This product is packed in craft paper bags for export. It is rich in healthy saturated fats with no cholesterol and is also a good source of dietary fibre.
