Transmitters are generally head mounted and fitted in the head of temperature sensor; Isolators provide further isolation of field signal so that PLC side is isolated from field side. In the field, many signals are generated such as motor current, armature voltage, position feedback in the form of change in resistance or signals obtained from various types of traducers in standard voltage or current form. These signals are not isolated from input and not suitable for transmission over long distance. Converters are specially developed to overcome these problems in transmission such as line drop, interference, ground looping and non compatibility to standard processing unit. Salient features: 1) Complete galvanic isolation between input, output and control supply 2) Independent zero and span adjustments 3) Stable current output eliminates need for special cable, shielding The isolators are housed in din rail mounting engineering plastic enclosure; special robust cast Al. enclosures suitable for field mounting are also available. APPLICATIONS: These converters are extensively used in cement, fertilizer, chemical, and processing plants. Following models are available: SC I I I D: Signal Converter, Din Rail Mounting, 4-20 mA I/P, 4-20 mA O/P ST N2 P I: Temperature Transmitter, Head Mounting, RTD I/P, 4-20 mA O/P, Loop powered. _ Individual packing.
