Golf shaft The role of the shaft accounts for about 70% of the performance of a golf club, and the weight, strength, torque and kick point of the shaft vary according to the type and intended use of the golf club. To solve problems afflicting a general cylindrical shaft and improve the performance thereof, the present shaft has been developed to have a composite design system. That is, to improve the distance and direction by evaluating the roles of various parts of the shaft, fabric having strength and weight appropriate to the functions of respective parts of the shaft is selected and molded with connecting parts thereof overlapping each other according to the process. At this time, joints are formed on the outer circumference according to the number of parts connecting the fabric. The joint of the present shaft is formed to have a structure similar to that of bamboo. Further, the shaft specifications, according to which the number of joints and spaces therebetween differ, is decided according to a golferí»s ability and tendencies. Thus, when the golfer swings the golf club, each joint performs a function similar to that of an artificial joint. As a result, the head speed achieved by the golfer is increased; the distance is increased by about 20-30 yards by the stabilization of impact (head spot); and the direction is improved by controllingthe torsion of the joint located in the middle of the shaft in the case of an impact. 2. Explain in detail how the idea would be operated used The inner layer of the shaft is formed of a reinforcement, folded in a single fold or two or more folds, that determines the flex and weight of the shaft so that the direction of the texture of the material repeats in an X arrangement. The middle layer is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the inner layer. To form the first middle layer, 5 divided middle layers are arranged and folded along the axial direction of the shaft so that 4 overlapping joints are formed. A second middle layer is also formed in the same manner as the first middle layer. The outer layer is formed to have a straight angle and be parallel to the axial direction of the shaft on the outer circumferentialsurface of the middle layer and is formed of one cut piece of material folded once, or twice or more, having appropriate strength, elasticity and tensile elastic modulus so that the overlapping joints of the middle layers are not separated by the impact of a swing, and are durable. Then, the shaft is finished by heat-treating it after rolling heat-shrink tape on the outer circumferential surface of the outer layer, 3. What features do you believe your idea has that makes it unique and appealing? The shaft is manufactured by folding a plurality of divided middle layers, which are different from each other with respect to strength, elasticity and tensile elastic modulus. Meanwhile, when the following factors are considered in combination with each other, it is possible to manufacture a shaft having various characteristics. 1) Number of Joints for Each Shaft - In the case where the number of joints is large, a sensation of impact is increased somewhat. - The case where the number of joints is small is appropriate for golfers with weak swings. - In the case wherethe number of joints is large, the directionality becomes very good and the feeling of impact is close to that of a steel shaft.- In the case where the number of joints is small, the trajectory becomes high. 2) Space between Joints - Even though the number of joints is the same, a soft feeling is provided to users in the case where the space between the joints in the tip part is long. -The kick point goes down toward the tip when the space between the joints in the butt part is long. - A high kick is appropriate for users in the intermediate class or above, and generates a low trajectory, and the rolling distance of the golf ball is increased. 3) Structure of Fabric - Fabric having high elasticity and strength is used, thereby resulting in distinctive performance 4.What need does the idea fulfill? This product has been manufactured and sold in Korea, and it is necessary to expose this product to U.S. consumers for access to the U.S. market. Meanwhile, this product acquired certification according to the USGA standard in the U.S.A. and the R&A standard in the United Kingdom. 5. Descripbe possible variations of your idea: The middle layers may be manufactured after the divided middle layers are cut at an incline rather than at a straight angle, and the durability can be improved by setting the cut inclinations of the first middle layer and the second middle layer in opposite directions relative to each other.
