Polyacrylamide (PAM)Â produced by Xinhuan is a water-soluble polymer, insoluble in most organic solvents, with good flocculation effect. According to the different ionic properties, it can be divided into three major types: anionic, cationic and nonionic. In neutral alkaline media, it is characterised by polymer electrolytes, sensitive to salt electrolytes, and crosslinked with high-valent metal ions to form insoluble gels.
