Carrot Seeds Varieties

Carrots are a staple in most gardens. They should be, because they are great eaten fresh from the garden, or in a soup or casserole dish, or as a vegetable side dish. They're a great source of beta-carotene and antioxidants, and kids still eat them!

Carrots also come in shorter varieties. Some varieties of carrots will only grow half as long. Some will stay as small as baby carrots. This is important if you are developing a deep, rich, sandy loam soil where carrots will be grown. Talk about color!
