Wired glass has an impact resistance, similar to that of normal glass, but in case of breakage, the mesh retains the pieces of glass. Wired glass is manufactured primarily as a fire resistant glass, with wire mesh inlaid in the glass to prevent it from shattering and breaking out under stress or when exposed to high temperatures. With the window intact, the glass keeps the fire at day, protecting those on the other side from the harmful effects of smoke and flame.
Features:
Fireproof safety: Wired glass is suitable to be used as an efficient fireproof material. Even wired glass breaks in the fire, the fragments will still connect with each other by the wire meshes, and not fall down, which prevent fire spreading.
Shock-resistant safety: Even wired glass broken in shocking, the fragments will still be connected by the wire meshes and won't fall down.
Its surface patterns allow diffused daylight transmission but prevent visibility of activity, thus ensuring privacy.
