Bharwa in English means to fill. This particular recipe is inspired from my mother-in-law's Sindhi kitchen. The best part of being married in a cultural community different than my own was that I was suddenly being introduced to these unique and new combinations of existing spices to prepare signature dishes. One such spice mix that left me wanting for more is the blending of roasted chickpea flour with traditional whole spices to prepare a filling for sliced eggplants, okra, potato etc.. Each time I visit India, my MIL bids me farewell with a jar of this mix as a parting gift. Ingredients Chickpea flour (Besan), Sesame seeds (White til), Dry Mango (Amchur), Jaggery (Gur), Desiccated Coconut, Dry Red Chillies (Kashmiri chilies), Coriander Seeds, Cumin, Turmeric, Pink Himalayan Salt
