This product is a legacy-type item, that is intended to be used with much older multisync monitors. It was not intended for the current VGA monitors. Hence please don't try to use it with the current VGA monitors. Convert your existing straight-wired cables to a null modem or reverser (transmit & receive) cables with these handy, inexpensive adapters. Simply plug these adapters onto the end of a cable and you're done! The low profile design reduces leverage strain on overstressed computer ports and is fully shielded for electrically noisy environments.
